If your child is not in mainstream school for whatever reason, you might find yourself in need of an AP - an Alternative Provider. Here, we’ve rounded up a list of the most frequently recommended AP services from the Worcestershire Mums Network Group .

WLZ Group

WLZ believes that education should start with the learner and adapt to suit their needs. We provide a range of educational services to children, young people, and adults, and all of our trained and DBS checked tutors share the belief that education should be enjoyable, worthwhile and accessible. We are independent and therefore able to provide flexible and bespoke learning opportunities suited to everyone.

Tuition available from KS2 to A-Level, online, in person or in your own home, in Worcester, Kidderminster and surrounding areas. We are also an accredited Exam Centre offering iGCSE and GCSE exams from our Worcester centre.

Limitless Learning

Limitless Learning UK is an Alternative Provision (AP) approved provider with local authorities including Worcestershire and Herefordshire, offering a safe, trusted, and personalised approach to education for children who may not thrive in traditional settings, using creative, playful, and engaging methods alongside tailored sessions, gamification, and hands-on activities to support learning retention, while also incorporating holistic and mindfulness-based techniques to build confidence, self-esteem, and a positive mindset.

Validate Learning And Support

Validate Learning and Support is an organisation dedicated to providing families and young people with specialist SEND tuition, mentoring and wellbeing support. Our holistic approach ensures that young people can be who they are; and receive the support needed to acquire skills, confidence, and nurture a unique path to learning. We provide tuition and mentoring from early years to GCSE level and our family wellbeing services include a Parent Support Group.

Matt Tally Empowered Minds

We provide Alternative Provision and In-School Mentoring for pupils who need extra support to re-engage with learning, build confidence and make positive choices.

Through mentoring, positive relationships and structured sessions, we create a safe, consistent environment where pupils can reconnect with learning as well as explore their interests. Our provision blends emotional support with meaningful learning experiences.
